I was delighted to learn that I was successful in winning another global Wedisson award for their 75th June 2021 nominations for this shot of Laura & Craig on their pre-wedding session at Formby beach in Merseyside, UK!
Laura & Craig chose a gorgeous summer evening to visit Formby beach, a National Trust nature reserve just north of Liverpool for their pre-wedding session. This image was captured using a Nikon D850 and 35mm lens, keeping low to the tidal water that sat on the beach to ensure this reflection was achieved. Afterwards, editing in Lightroom brought out the warm mid-tones and blue hues, with some clarity added to the reflection.
Laura & Craig are due to get married at Tyn Dwr Hall in North Wales in August 2021!
