Top wedding specialists gathered on Wednesday, February 15, at The Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel & Spa to celebrate the champions of The 5th Welsh Wedding Awards 2023.
The 2023 Awards recognised exceptional specialists and suppliers that go above and beyond to ensure the uniqueness of every wedding. These suppliers are from a variety of industries and they work their hardest to ensure that wow factor is present at every wedding they’re hired for.
From boutiques and cake designers to jewellery providers and much more, the Awards recognised businesses that meet the needs of their customers offering top services under one roof.
Wrexham based Joe Bickerton (Photography by Joe Bickerton) was one of the finalists in the Wedding Photographer of the Year category. The competition was fierce, but Joe received the recognition and took the trophy home.
On receiving the national award, Joe said; "It's an absolute privilege to receive this award for a second time and to have been voted for by couples who I've worked with over the last year! 2022 felt like a real bounceback year for the wedding industry and the level of talent, mutual support and friendship amongst fellow wedding suppliers and venues in North East Wales makes it such an exciting sector to be involved with.
This award has given me a real boost to kick start the new season and I can't wait to capture the celebrations that 2023 will bring!"
